Maharashtra state Commission for women , MSCW have initiated a series of training workshops to train workplaces for tackling Sexual harassment against women. Chairperson, MSCW, Ms. Vijaya Rahatkar, inaugurated the program. Purushottam Bhapkar divisional commissioner, Chiranjeevi Prasad IG, Milind Bharambe ,IG, Navalkishor Ram, collector Aurangabad , Yashwi Yadav, Commisioner Police, DM Mugalikar, commissioner Aurangabad municipal corporation, Madhukar Raje Ardad, CEO ZP and Arti Singh, SP rural police and Sangeeta Londhe , deputy commissioner Mahila Bal Vikas attended the program to show their wholehearted support.
Renowned Speakers like advocate Archana Gondhalekar and Vishal Kedia shared their inputs on the topic with the audience. Under PUSH- People United Against Sexual Harassment, the initiative starts with the importance of setting up ICC. After universities, the government workplaces will be now trained to meet the requirements of setting up ICCs -Internal Complaint Committee and educate people about laws against women's harassment. Starting from Marathwada today, the workshops will be held all over Maharashtra.
